Not every internet company offers Lifeline. The program's official website has a "Companies Near Me" search where you enter your ZIP code to see who participates.
Call the company and ask three things: the monthly price after the Lifeline discount, any equipment rental fee for the modem or router, and whether there is a contract or a price increase after the first year.
